  • Our 16x20ft live room is comfortable for a 5-6 piece band.

  • Backline includes multiple drum kits, Fender tube amps, Markbass combo and more. Gear list available upon request.

  • We run an HD ProTools rig, UA analog preamps and a full array of top quality recording microphones.

LOST ALLEY RECORDS (Vinyl)

  • We operate a vintage vinyl lathe from the fifties in the studio that can't be found anywhere else in California!

  • We are able to cut and emboss custom short runs of vinyl for your projects with a very fast turnaround time.

  • Ask us about holding a private event where we will cut your band to vinyl live as you play and your friends listen in!

EVENTS

  • THE GOLD RUSH is our annual "off the grid" music festival set on the banks of a beautiful river in the Sierra Nevada Mountains each summer in early August. For more info on how to be a part of the next one, please email us. 

  • OFF THE RECORD is a live to vinyl, in studio event series aimed at spotlighting local and touring artists in a unique live recording environment. Through our wireless headphone system, audience members experience the event in high fidelity, giving the sessions an audience inspired magic! Gulch Alley Studio Location

 

We are located beneath the Peruvian restaurant La Fina Estampa, which, unlike Gulch Alley, can be accessed from street level.  The studio entrance is located through the silver metal gate to the left of the restaurant entrance.  This gate is locked at all times.
